The Kindness Postbox was started in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland with the intent to bring the gift of kindness to residents of local care homes that had been affected by Covid-19. With the help of local volunteers we raised interest in the project before our official launch in April 2020 through our Facebook group and articles in local newspapers.

With the kind cooperation of our local shop, McBride’s Spar Chanterhill, we got to work planning and building the first box. After a successful launch, working with local businesses, care homes, artists and schools, we decided to build this site to spread The Kindness Postbox to other communities, and that’s where you come in.
